John Russell McAliley, age 65, a native of Foley and a resident of Birmingham, passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at UAB Highlands Hospital in Birmingham.
He was a graduate of Foley High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Guy McAliley and Bryce McAliley Epperson.
He is survived by his sister, Barbara Ashby; uncle, Ken (Jessie) McAliley; aunt, Pat (Bob) Tolbert; aunt, Lois McAliley; uncle, Steve (Dot) McAliley; a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 1024 12th St. S. in Birmingham.
Father Michael Rich and Deacon Gerri Aston will be officiating.
Interment to be at later date.
