John T. Grace, 68, a native of Pickens County and a resident of Robertsdale, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011.
He retired from Blossman Gas after 25 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, coin collecting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Collins; brother, LaFayette Grace Jr.; and one grandson, Joseph Fortune.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth Grace of Robertsdale; three daughters, Kathy Fortune (Trey) Cook of Foley, Beth (Chad) Brewer of Foley, Heather (Jimmy) Cowan of Texas; two sisters, Maxine Rye ofMonroe, Ga., Barbara Slaughter of Robertsdale; brothers, Clifton Grace of Gallion, James Grace of Loxley, Jerry Grace of Gallion, Richard Grace of Gallion of Louis Grace of Palmeto; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 at Mack Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Keith Cardwell officiating. Burial will follow at The Rock Cemetery, Robertsdale.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the John T. Grace Memorial Fund at Bryant Bank in Foley.
