"font-family:">John W. Tolbert Sr., 74, of Foley passed away Jan. 18, 2012.
"font-family:">John was a retired Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He had more than 34 years in federal service, and was a member of the American Legion Post 99 in Foley.
"font-family:">He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Bernice Moyer Tolbert.
"font-family:">Survivors include his wife, Annie Tolbert of Foley; four daughters, Freida B. (Ray) Boothe of Elberta, Debora C. (Kevin) Gillen of Foley, Joni R. Tolbert Parnell of Summerdale and Carla J. (Richard) Garriga of Robertsdale; one son, John W. (Teresa) Tolbert Jr. of Elberta; one sister, Earnistine King of Texas; five brothers, Richard Tolbert and Leo Tolbert, both of Lillian, Tilton Tolbert of Huntsville, Milton Tolbert of Mississippi and Burt Tolbert of Fort Myers, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
"font-family:">Funeral services with full military honors for Mr. John W. Tolbert Sr. will be held Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at 11 a.m., from Pleasant View Baptist Church in Foley, with burial in Pleasant View Baptist Cemetery.
"font-family:">The visitation will be held at 10 a.m. before the service.
