Johnathan Blake Witherington, 16, a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, lost his fight and went to reside in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, April 13, 2014.
He fought a hard battle. Everyone who knew him loved and admired his strength and will to live. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Traci Witherington Mincey; his brother, Terrence West III; his sisters, Sabrina Witherington and Prissilla West; his niece, Avryonna Tate; his grandparents, Brenda Witherington Lane and Charles Witherington; and his step-grandmother, Nancey E. McGill Shaw Witherington.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 11 a.m., in the chapel at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
