Johnie Henry Kuglar, 89, a native of Akron, Ohio and resident of Magnolia Springs, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014.
Mr. Kuglar was a commercial general contractor in Birmingham for 30 years before moving to Baldwin County, where he was the building official for Baldwin County, the city of Gulf Shores and the city of Orange Beach.
Mr. Kuglar is survived by his son, John Kuglar of Daphne; daughter, Donna Woolridge of California; seven grandchildren, Christopher Kuglar, Matthew Kuglar, Kelly Hoodless, Ron Kuglar, John Kuglar, Zion Woolridge and Sarah Woolridge; and nine great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 2 until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014 at New Life in Christ Church, 102 E. Berry Ave. in Foley, with the funeral at 3.
Interment will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
