Mary Elizabeth Johnson, 75, a native of Hueytown and a resident of Fairhope, died on Friday, April 23, 2010.
She was a member of Fairhope United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Auburn University, with a degree in food management and worked as a dietician at Lloyd Nolan Hospital, Birmingham.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Brown and Jeannette Slazmann and a brother, John Jones.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Bryan W. Johnson of Fairhope; sister, Tera Selby, of Linden; brother, Herbert “Buddy” U. Jones Jr. of Los Angeles; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday April 27 at Fairhope United Methodist Church.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Fairhope United Methodist Church, Shepard’s Place, 155 S. Section St. Fairhope, AL 36532.
