Glenn Johnson, 80, born June 29, 1929, a a resident of Foley, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 in Tuscaloosa.
He lived a long, colorful life filled with adventurous travels and exciting stories of exotic and remote places. He always had a joke to tell, a finger to pull, or a napkin trick up his sleeve to make his family and friends smile.
He was an active participant in the choir at his church and he honored his commitment as a 32nd degree Free Mason for most of his adult life.
Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Suellen Lindley Johnson; three children, Wendy Dominguez, Scott Johnson and Tracy Efaw; and three grandchildren, Eric Johnsn, Rubert D. Dominguez and Gabriel Dominguez.
His family and friends will miss his spirit of mischief and good times and are richer for having known and loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3 at Magnolia Chapel North, Northport.
The family requests memorial donations be made to West Alabama Hospice.
