Maureen Mizell Johnson, 69, a native of Pahokee, Fla., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Oakwood Nursing Home.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carr and Winifred Hill Mizell.
Survivors include her husband, Edmond B. Johnson Jr. of Bay Minette; three daughters, SuMica (Herbert) Harris of Birmingham, Melanie (Rick) Lender of Fairhope and Patricia (Bill) Woodall of Mobile; sister, Brenda (Lewis) Godby of Donaldsonville, Ga.; four brothers, William Mizell of Niceville, Fla., Carlin Mizel of Tuscon, Ariz., Phillip Mizell of Smith's Station and Donald Owen Mizell of Webb; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. held Friday, July 25 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Spiller officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of the South, P.O. Box 9693, Mobile, AL 36691.
