BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Jessica Eva Johnson of Daphne is among 15 Samford University students selected for inclusion in the 2008 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
Students are chosen for Who’s Who on the basis of academic achievement, community service, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
Johnson, a senior nursing major, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Johnson.
She serves as a Samford Ambassador and vice president of the Samford Association of Nursing Students. She is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society, and Hypatia and Alpha Lambda Delta academic honor societies. She has been a leader in many campus and community service projects, including a 2005 hurricane relief mission.
Samford, with an enrollment of 4,485, is Alabama’s largest privately supported college or university.
