Dyas and a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at

his residence.

"font-family:">He was a hull technician for the

United States Navy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having

served during the Korean and Vietnam

wars.

"font-family:">He is survived by his life partner,

Hazel Lamp of Bay Minette; two sons, J.D. (Vicky) Cravey Jr. of

Chesapeak, Va. and Bryan Cravey of Porstmouth, Va.; two daughters,

Helen (Terry) Anderson and Ruth (Wayne) Coble, both of Portsmouth,

Va.; three brothers, Clarence Cravey of Atlanta, Ga., Christopher

Cravey of Seattle, Wash. and Ricky Cravey of Bay Minette; two

sisters, Betty Jo Parker of Bay Minette and Gwen Bodiford of

Atmore; nine grandchildren and seven

great-grandchildren.

"font-family:">He was preceded in death by his

parents, Corbett and Alberta Cravey; a son, Arthur Sullivan; two

sisters, Marilyn Stewart and Lounetta Biggs and two brothers, Bobby

Cravey and Wilburn Cravey.

"font-family:">The funeral service will be held

Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at 2:30 p.m., at the chapel of Norris

Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wayne Bradley officiating. Burial will

follow at Perdido Baptist Cemetery.

"font-family:">Pallbearers will be James Lamp,

Aubrey Yarbrough, Bobby Lee, Charlie Singleton, the Rev. Bobby

Crepes and Earl Homan.
