Betty Jean Jones, 62, of Monroeville, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 at USA Medical Center in Mobile.
She was a homemaker, a native of Virginia and a former resident of Perdido, she had lived in Monroe County for 25 years and was a member of the Christian Tabernacle Church in Excel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Jones; her sister, Linda Hallsrud and her grandson, Dalton Morris.
Survivors include seven daughters, Diana Morris of Beatrice, Donna Emmons of McCullough, Michelle Fouler of Nokomis, Tammy Fuller of Ashville, Melissa Reed of Monroeville, Rhonda Slay of Perdido and Tonya Sawyer of Excel; two brothers, Johnny Hodges of Henderson, Tenn., and James Hodges of Briston, Tenn.; and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 17 at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackson Knight officiating. Burial followed at Excel Cemetery.
