Rose Marie Jones died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008 after a long illness with cancer in Silver Springs, Md.
She graduated from Fort Meyers High School where she was living with her father. She went on to The International Fine Arts School of Fashion and Designa and earned an associate degree in 1987.
Having a variety of avenues open to her, she accepted various positions related to her career goals, including that of a staff writer covering the fashion world at the Miami Herald.
She was later employed by various international companies which required her to move often, finally settling in Silver Springs, Md., where he illness required hospitalization.
Survivors include her mother, Linda C. Jones of Foley; her father, Roy T. Jones of Malone, Fla.; sister, Lisha Ann (Levi) Grainger of Marianna, Fla.; aunt and uncle, Jimmy and Janie Lipford of Sneds, Fla.; uncle, Donnie Jones of Malone, Fla.; cousin, Jenna Lipford of Sneds, Fla.; nephew, Brian (Summer) Dodd and grandniece, Lacy.
Interment will be at Friendship Baptist Cemeter, Malone, Fla.
