Charles Eugene “Charlie” Jones, 48, a resident of Mobile, died on Friday, July 11, 2008 at a local hospital.
He was the owner of C. J. Excavating Company.
Survivors include two sisters, Donna L. Brown of Spanish Fort and Connie S. (Fred) Brown of Satsuma; brother, James V. (Margaret) Jones of Lucedale, Miss.; nephew, Bryan (Kristyn) Brown; nieces:, Jennifer (Justin) Little, Valerie (Daniel) Jones, and Whitney (Vincent) Brown; one grand nephew; Micah Brown; three grand nieces, McRae Jones, Suzanna Jones and Peyton Brown; and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 14 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 15 in the parish hall at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne with a Celebration Of Life Service at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at 2 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Building Fund, Daphne or your favorite charity.
