Karen Lindsey Jones and Richard Crowley Sullivan Jr. were united in marriage on May 1, 2010 at Steelwood Chapel in Loxley.

The Rev. Christopher George, pastor of First Baptist Church of Mobile, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robert McDevitt of Daphne. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Robert Grove McDevitt of Montgomery and the late Mr. McDevitt, the late Myles William McKenzie Jr. and the late Ruby Garrett McKenzie.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Crowley Sullivan Sr. of Mobile. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Coleman Ferrell Pearson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Charles Sullivan.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Mary Blakely Sullivan Herndon, sister of the bridegroom, of Fairhope, served as matron of honor.  Bridesmaids were Lauren Elizabeth Lambuth of Daphne; Abby Lynn Aycock of Trussville; Theresa Lee Davidson and Alicia Kathleen Mackey of Mobile; and cousins of the bride, Sara Michele Godwin of Bay Minette and Margaret Ashleigh Ferguson of Mobile.

Richard Crowley Sullivan Sr., father of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Edward Morris Herndon of Fairhope; Robert Druhan Geil of Chapel Hill, N.C.; Charles Stanton MacDonald III of Daphne; Thomas Stephen Gleason Jr and Nicholas Walker MacDonald of Mobile; and Leroy Harte Benton IV of Fairhope.

Program attendants were Elizabeth Vickers Courtney, Virginia Conyers Courtney and Margaret Francis Courtney.  Reader was Elizabeth Douglas Livingston.

A reception followed the ceremony at Steelwood Country Club in Loxley. 

After a honeymoon trip to Bora Bora, French Polynesia, the couple will reside in Loxley.
