Joseph J. Signorelli, 89, a native of Hammond, La. and resident of Fairhope, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014.
He was a World War II veteran and owner of J.J. Plumbing and Electric in Fairhope.
Mr. Signorelli was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rosina Signorelli; his wife, Melrose Johnson Signorelli; three sisters, Mary Whynot, Vita Hapiuk and Augustine Perkins; and one grandchild, Daniel McLeod.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Signorelli III of Decatur, Ga.; brother, Sam (Madeline) Signorelli of Hammond, La.; sisters, Jennie Rose Rogers of Baton Rouge, La. and Esther Truxillo of Mobile; stepdaughter, Renie Waldrip of Warner Robbins, Ga.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Magnolia Springs.
