Joseph “Joe” Warren Rushing Jr., 72, born in Selma and a resident of Stockton, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
He retired from BE&K Engineering. He was a 32nd degree KCCH and a member of Baldwin Lodge No. 142 in Stockton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Belinda D. (Allen) Rushing of Stockton; his son, Trevor (Carlotta) Rushing of Bay Minette; stepsons, Christopher (Nikki) Morris of Spanish Fort and Jason Morris of Mobile; his stepfather, Albert Glenn Stroud of Brandon, Miss.; two grandchildren, Smith Rushing and Makayla Morris; three brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, from noon until 2 p.m., at Baldwin Lodge No. 142 in Stockton.
