Joseph R. “Buddy” Pennington Jr., 76 of Loxley, died Friday, April 29, 2011.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War. He was a lifelong Baldwin County commercial fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of over 52 years, Patsy Pennington of Loxley; three daughters, Cindy Bell of Rosinton, Gina (Gerald) Giddens of Loxley and karen (Steve) Kingsmore of Loxley; four sisters, Wilma Andress of Fairhope, Marie Ryals of Fairhope, Becky VanScoyk of Stapleton and Maggie Ishee of Mississippi; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services with military honors will be held Thursday, May 5 at Overcoming Faith Ministry Church in Robertsdale.
