Joyce L. Davis Burt, age 80, a native and resident of Bay Minette, Ala., died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frank Burt Jr. of Bay Minette, Ala.; three children, Tommy (Neiva) Burt, Lee Ann Burt Raley and Tony (Jessica) Burt, all of Bay Minette, Ala.; one brother, Murray D. (Nettie Lou Roberts) Davis of Bay Minette, Ala.; two grandchildren, Jared Andrew (Crystal) Raley of Bay Minette, Ala. and Kameron Burt of Mobile, Ala.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lizzie Thomley Davis; her father, Simon Peter Davis; brothers, Julian Davis, Lloyd David and Norville Davis; and one sister, Bernice Davis Carlisle.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Henry Cox and Dr. Chip Starnes officiating.
Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 30, 2015, from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at First Baptist Church.
