Juanita L. Damon (McKee) passed away Saturday Dec. 13, 2014 in her home in Robertsdale.
Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence McKee (Bud); her husband, David L. Damon; and her son, Nicholas J. Bell Jr.
Juanita is survived by her daughters, Doreen M. Savell (Paul) and Melissa B. Duckworth (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Laura L. Savell, Elizabeth N. Bell and David M. Bell; her great-grandchild, Natalie A. Savell; her two brothers, Elwood and Gary McKee; and her sister, Bernice Lagueux; plus several nieces and nephews.
Juanita was a spirited, strong woman who spent her life in Connecticut, Maine and Alabama. She worked hard all her life and enjoyed gathering with friends and family.
As per her request, there will not be a memorial service. There will be a celebration of her life in the form of an Irish Wake at 7 p.m. on Dec. 27, 2014 at Buddy’s Lounge in Robertsdale.
