Julia Alice Rider Adams, born Feb. 9, 1920, died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at her home in Bromley.
She was an avid gardener, quilter, camper and homemaker. Her six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren were the loves of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Adams; infant son,
Sammie; and her son-in-law, Sam Wright.
Survivors include two daughters, Nadine (Alan) May and Julia Louise Wright.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 12 at Bromley Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 13 at the church with the Rev. John Anderson and the Rev. Brad Reinhart officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
