HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TEACHING? Nine years at Spanish Fort High School, Four years at Chi Alpha

OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES: Mrs. Thomas is the colorguard sponsor and the Technology Student Association and BEST Robotics sponsor. SFHS was selected this year to participate in Electrathon America in which they will race a car that her student’s built. Cockrell’s Body Shop donated the fiery racing stripes along the sides.

WHEN YOU’RE NOT TEACHING…I like to read, run to relieve stress and I really like to cook. I mean, really like it. My husband and I are thinking about taking some cooking classes.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT TEACHING? Watching the students learn to think. If they can do that, they can do anything. It’s wonderful to see.
