BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Jury selection continued early Tuesday in the murder trial of former Mobile County Commissioner Stephen Nodine who is charged with the murder of Angel Downs on Mother’s Day at her Gulf Shores residence.

Jurors for Nodine’s trial will be selected from a pool of more than 250 Baldwin County residents.

Nodine was indicted in October on charges of intentional felony murder, stalking and ethics violations.
