Kaiser in Gulf Shores raises more than $10,000 for The American Heart Association

Gulf Shores, AL – On Saturday hundreds of local Baldwin County residents and business owners gathered to participate in the 2011 Gulf Coast Heart Walk to benefit the American Heart Association. Through Fundraising efforts made by businesses and individuals, more than $300,000 was donated to The American Heart Association.

Kaiser Realty is proud to have been named the “Top Revenue producing Business from bank Night” in this year’s fundraising efforts, raising more than $10,000 as a company. Kaiser Realty also took home two of the three “Top Walker” awards with Administrative Assistant, Megan Melvin raising the third most money for any individual participant and Marketing Director, Emily Gonzalez raising the most money of any individual participant in Baldwin County.

President/CEO of Kaiser Realty, Leonard Kaiser, was proudly the co-chair for the successful event, and had the pleasure of accepting the “Top Business” award on behalf of the company.

The fundraising efforts that Kaiser Realty participated in as a company included a team fitness challenge, a donation-only car wash, and two donation-based lunch offerings available for employees and friends. The money raised as a company was then combined with the individual fundraising efforts of each participating Kaiser Realty employee.

“I am so proud of and amazed by the Kaiser Team,” Kaiser said. “They always step up to the challenge when it comes to supporting so many worthy causes, such as The American Heart Association.”

The money raised for The American Heart Association goes directly to research and education regarding Heart Disease and Stroke.
