Karen Brackin Murphy, 57, a native of Foley, and resident of Jacksonville, Fla., died March 29, 2012 in Jacksonville, after an extended illness.
She is preceded in death by her father, W.E. Brackin, Foley; brother, Mike Brackin, Biloxi-Gulfport, Miss. Karen is survived by her mother, Alice Brackin, Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Kenny Brackin (Janet), Foley, Ange Brackin, Jacksonville; daughter, Jaryn Lueder (Justin), Jacksonville,;three grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorial services were in Jacksonville.
A local Celebration of Life will be announced later this fall. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the Alabama Sheriff's Boys Ranch of Baldwin County, 21870 Co. Rd 32, Summerdale, AL 36580.
