Karen Shedd, 27, of Elberta, gained her wings on April 4, 2015 while surrounded by her loving family after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer.
Karen was born Sept. 9, 1987 to parents Lloyd and Peggy Shedd.
Karen had a love for horses and enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to country music.
She is survived by her loving parents, Lloyd and Peggy Shedd; three children, Savana, Cody and Jonathan; two brothers, Timmy (Brittany) Shedd and Rick (Samantha) Taylor; sister, Roseanne (Tommy) Shedd; grandfather, John R. Shedd of Green Cove Springs; and nieces and nephews, Garrett, Jackson, Caleb, Noah, Isaac and Tierra.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at Friendship Baptist Church in Bon Secour on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1 p.m.
Karen’s favorite color was purple, and we ask if you can, wear something purple in honor of Karen.
