Katherine Boutwell, 78, a native and lifelong resident of Lottie, died Friday, July 15 at a Mobile hospital.
She attended the Lottie Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Floyd Boutwell; her parents, Joe and Emily Weaver; a son, Robert Boutwell; and four brothers, Cecil Weaver, Eugene Weaver, Ewing Weaver and Buddy Weaver.
Survivors include four sons, Joseph Floyd “June Bug” Boutwell of Huxford, Jessie Boutwell of Flomaton, Rodney Boutwell of Perdido and Destry Boutwell of Lottie; two daughters, Ora Jane Dorriety of Lottie and Bernice Hadley of Perdido; and a brother, Claude Weaver of Hayward, Calif.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 18 at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Helen Stewart and the Rev. Chris Pruitt
officiating. Burial followed at Traveler’s Rest Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Petty Funeral Homes LLC, Eastside Chapel, Atmore.
