Katherine Pansarella Evans, 91, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and a resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011.
She was a proud Air Force officer’s wife and loved making their home wherever they were stationed through out the world.
She was preceded in death by her husband Maj. James B. Evans.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann (John) Nelson of Fairhope; two sons, Anthony (Frances) Evans of Fairhope and James B. Evans of Pompano Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Scott (Elizabeth) Evans, Jonathan (Christina) Nelson, Regina (Jef) Florey and Justin (Suzanne) Evans; great-grandchildren, Mary Ann, Cecilia, Jonathan, Morgan, Sophia and Mason Ann; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, with Father Brendan Keller, Father Charles Bordenca and Father Steve Williams officiating.
