William E. “Mr. Bill” Kennefick, a native of Chicago and a resident of Fairhope since April, 1978, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007 at a local hospital.
He was an avid golfer was a regular fixture at Quail Creek Golf Club. He lived at Carroll Place for the last seven years. He was assisted by the wonderful staff at Carroll Place Retirement Home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Kennefick, siblings, Babe Lonas, Helen Springer, Grace Kennefick and Bob Kennefick; and a son, Mark Kennefick.
Survivors include a sister, Jane Kelly; daughter, Jane Lyle Sundheim; grandchildren, Brian, Bruce and Lisa Sundheim; great-grandchildren, Luke, Taylor, Jack and Leah Sundheim; and great friends, Horace Ard and Allen McPherson.
A private family service will be held.
