Kenneth David Boone, 62, born in Mobile and a resident of Little River, died at his residence Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014.
He was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He also retired from the U.S. Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Ann (Green) Boone of Little River; his children, Michael (Debbie) Perrewe Jr. of Sauk Village, Ill. and Adrianne (Rudy) Arruda of Sacramento, Calif.; five brothers, George Boone, Bernard Boone Jr., Leroy Boone and John Boone, all of Little River, and Joseph Boone of Virginia; four sisters, Alma Jewel Woods of Atmore, Donna Harry of Palmyra, Va., June Godwin of Stockton and Deliah Dinezo of Palmyra, Va.; and two grandchildren, Nathan and Ishmael.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette, with the Rev. Steve Dunn officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, from 1 until 2 p.m.
