Kenneth Elmore Wallace, born in Stockton on Dec. 14, 1927 died March 15, 2015 in Fairhope, where he was a resident.
He attended the Marietta Johnson School of Organic Education and was a craftsman cabinetmaker.
In 1961 he moved to Costa Rica where he lived until moving back to Alabama in 1979.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walker and Elsie Wallace; sister, Marie Jadrich; and daughter, Meg Wallace.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Wallace; two sons, Marco of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. and Tobi of Costa Rica; two daughters, Marcia and Lideth; two brothers, David Wallace of Silverhill and Bob Wallace of Barnwell; three sisters, Dolores O’Neil of Lillian, Dot Parish of Fairhope and Rosemary Weisenbach of Gresham, Ore.; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 2 p.m., at the Friends Meeting House (Quaker), 9261 County Road 48 in Fairhope.
