Kenneth R. Kollar, age 85 a native of Indiana and a resident of Foley, for 30 years passed away Saturday Jan. 26, 2013.
Mr. Kollar was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Foley. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a South Alabama Honor Flight member on Flight 5 to Washington DC. He is survived by his wife, Lois Kollar of Foley; three sons, Keith (Marianne) Kollar of Stillwater, Minn., Karl (Suzie) Kollar of Lakewood, Colo., Bruce (Ara) Kollar of Rifle, Colo.; two sisters, Carol Roberts and Normalee Johnson both of Foley; grandchildren, Kirsten, Emily, Camille, Sophie Kollar, Edwin Sanabria. Memorial service will be held from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Foley, on Friday Feb. 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to St.Paul’s Lutheran Church in Foley, AL 400 N.
