Kenneth Randall Barks, age 65, a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018.
He was a very successful businessman for 35 years in the marine industry. He was a member of the Spanish Fort Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. Barks Sr. and Hilma M. Barks; brothers, John F. Barks Jr. and Edwin A. Barks.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Kay Barks of Spanish Fort; son, Steve Clanton of Spanish Fort; sister, Linda Tollerson of Warm Springs, Georgia; brother, David L. Barks of Spanish Fort; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
Interment will follow in Wilson Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations/memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
