ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - Kenny Chesney brings his NO SHOES NATION 2013 Tour to the AMPHITHEATER AT THE WHARF in Orange Beach, AL on Thursday, April 11 at 7 p.m.

Joining the eight-time CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year for these two shows will be two of country’s hottest rising stars, the 2011 ACM Song of the Year winner (“Crazy Girl”) and this year’s ACM Group, Single and Song of the Year nominee (“Even If It Breaks Your Heart”) the Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves who received her first two ACM Award nominations this year including the prestigious ACM Female Vocalist of the Year.

“We are doing a whole lot of different shows this year,” Chesney said. “We’ve worked up almost 40 songs. We’re gonna play 25 or more songs every night where the ordinances allow. And there is some amazing talent joining us this year on the road.”

The two opening acts are creating a buzz, too.

“After Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Grace Potter and Miranda Lambert, we’ve set a pretty high bar but I think Kasey Musgraves is breaking a lot of ground and Eli Young’s “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” kills me,” Chesney said. “It’s gonna be a great day and night of music.”

The No Shoes Nation 2013 tour will play a mixture of 19 NFL Stadiums, basketball arenas and outdoor amphitheaters across the country this summer. Having sold in excess of a million tickets in each of his past 11 tours, Chesney’s concerts have become the standard of summer across America for the past dozen years.

“Pirate Flag,” Chesney’s current single, was named USA Today’s Song of the Week before it was even released, and People proclaimed, “the cure for the winter doldrums with this escape-to-the-high-seas breeze. That mandolin would get a jog out of Captain Jack Sparrow.” The track from Life On A Rock, due in-stores April 30, is his eighth Top 25 debut, the most of any act in Billboard/BDS history.
