Thomas Francis Kerin Jr., 85, a native of Scarsdale, N.Y., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009 at his residence.
He was a retired restauranteur.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Swain Kerin of Bay Minette;; two sons, George K. (Caroline) Saleeby of Fuqua Varina, N.C., and Eli M. Saleeby Jr. of Washington, N.C.; two daughters, Dorothy White of Bay Minette and Virginia (Franklin) Boyd of Abbeyville, S.C.; brother, Monsignor Joseph Kerin of Charlotte, N.C.; three sisters, Gertrude Mary of Pennsylvania, Lorraine Hoyt and Teresa Kerin, both of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, Jan. 15 at St. Agatha Catholic Church with Monsignor Joseph Kerin and the Rev. Ernest Hyndman officiating. Burial followed at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1001 Hand Avenue, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
