Kevin Wayne Vickrey, 21, born in Bay Minette, and a resident of the Pine Grove Community, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011. He worked for Thomas Rose Tree Service.
He is survived by his parents, Alan and Vickie Vickrey of Pine Grove; one brother, Christopher Alan Vickrey of Pine Grove; one sister, Ashley Nicole (Eleazar) Santos of Bay Minette; his grandparents, Mary E. Vickrey of Pine Grove and Nellie and Ray Snow of Mount Airy, N.C.; and one nephew, Christian Alia Vickrey.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Banning officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 26, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Gideons, Eli Santos, John Mark Byrne, Cody Moorer, Bret Vickrey and Mason Vickrey.
Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to Alabama Teen Challenge, 9280 Hurricane Road, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
