Madelyn Clare Kimbrough and Andrew Ryan Butler were united in marriage May 30, 2009 at Auburn United Methodist Church in Auburn.

Dr. George H. Mathison officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Dumas Kimbrough III of Lillian. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Emile Majerski Baumhauer Jr. of Pascagoula, Miss., the late Franklin Dumas Kimbrough Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Donald Killian of Foley.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Russell Butler of Greenville, S.C. He is the grandson of Roland Russell Butler of Jacksonville, Fla., the late Elizabeth Arledge Butler, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Oscar Boles of Greensboro, N.C., and the late Esther Ingram Boles.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Kathleen Neville Kimbrough, sister of the bride, of Lillian, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Elizabeth Butler, sister of the bridegroom, of Greenville, S.C., Ashley Lloyd Cowley of Alabaster, Callie Marie Curry of Alpharetta, Ga., Natalie Ruth Lowe of Trussville, and Shawna Michelle Riss of Portland, Ore.

Alan Russell Butler, father of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Benjamin Taylor Bryant of Charleston, S.C., David Williamson Caldwell, Mark Reynolds Chandler and Joseph Hayes Holliday and Thomas Wooten Traxler, all of Greenville, S.C.

Ushers were Douglas Dozier of Hoover, James Manning Garrett of Fountain Inn, S.C., Andrew Charles Meyer of Roswell, Ga., and William Andrew Wharton of Greenville, S.C.

A reception at Fountainview Mansion followed the ceremony.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Atlanta.
