Barbara Hilbun King, 80, a longtime resident of New Orleans and resident of Spanish Fort for 17 years, died Saturday, Dec. 1.

She was an active mother who had worked in residential real estate and at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans.

Survivors include two children, Sara K. Hall of Walden, N.Y. and Lawrende H. King of St Paul, Minn.; two brothers, S. Windham (Mariluz) Hilbun of Mobile and Henry (Maureen) Hilbun III; many nieces and nephews, four great-grandchildren, and grandchildren, Sara Caitlin Hall and Theodore Mueller Hall of New York, Elizabeth Windham Hall of Beacon, N.Y., Stacy King (Billy) McDaniels of North Carolina, Rebecca King (Kenny) Stephens of Icard, N.C., and Sara Megan King, Frederick Crockett Windham King and Leonard M. King IV all of St. Paul, Minn.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at Lake Park Cemetery in Laurel, Miss. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church, 6620 Spanish Fort Blvd., in Spanish Fort, with a luncheon reception following.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
