Albert Hill Knowles Jr. 44, died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at a Baldwin County hospital.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Bay Minette; and was a journeyman electrician, a Merchant Marine officer; a City League Coach in baseball and football in Bay Minette; and he attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, A.J. Knowles of Bay Minette; daughter, Brigette Knowles of Bay Minette; the mother of his children, Abby Miller Knowles of Bay Minette; his fiancee, Gina Welch of Bay Minette; four grandchildren, Ian Knowles, D.J. Day, Emily Knowles and Marley Day; three sisters, Kacey Dawson, Shirley Reeves and Diann Quinley, all of Bay Minette; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 1 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Banning officiating. Burial followed at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Wilton Donald, Russell Donald, Kertley Tomlin, Charlie Joiner, D.W. Milstead and Joshua Cooley.
Arrangements were made by Petty Funeral Home Eastside Chapel, Atmore.
