Ronald Edward Kopesky, 61, a native of Kenosha, Wis., a former resident of Greenville, Miss., and a long time resident of Fairhope, died Monday, June 23, 2008.

He was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and Cumberland School of Law. After completing his law degree in 1974, he began his practice in Fairhope.

He was a member of the Fairhope Yacht Club, the Mobile Big Game and Fishing Club, a charter member of Knights Of Ecor Rouge and a past president of the Baldwin County Bar Association.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Oberg Kopesky of Fairhope; daughter, Britten Leslie (Brian) Britt of Fairhope; granddaughter, Margaret C. Britt; his mother, Georgia Kopesky of Greenville, Miss.; sister, Susan Golitz of Anguilla, Miss.; brother, Mark (Tammy) Kopesky of Brandon, Miss.; mother-in-law, Virginia Oberg of Fairhope; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 at at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 26 from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Thomas Hospital Foundation, P. O. Box 929, Fairhope, AL 36533.
