Joseph Kralik, 90, a longtime resident of Fairhope, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010.

He was the son of immigrants from Czechoslovakia and a farmer who loved to work his land. He was a member of South River Park Church of God and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife Elener F. Kralik of Fairhope; two daughters, Susan F. (Carl) Nelson and Shirley L. (Crandall) Langley, both of Fairhope; three sons, Joseph C. (Joanne) Kralik of Fairhope; Louie A. (Marcia) Kralik of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and David A. (Shirli Lu) Kralik of Fairhope; 21 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services and visitation were held held on Thursday, Jan. 28 at South River Park Church of God with Pastor Thom Reagan officiating. Interment with military honors followed at Silverhill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were his grandsons.

The family requests memorial donations be made to South River Park Church.
