Virginia R. Nelson Lackey, 79, a native of Oklahome and a resident of Fairhope, died Monday, March 8 in Fairhope.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was an employee of Thomas Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice C. Lackey Jr. of Fairhope; son, Donald Phillip Nelson of Rohnert Park, Calif.; brother, Ivan E. Rhodes of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters, Hazel Ramseyer of Nuevo, Calif., and Betty Nash of Thereck, Ga., and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
