FOLEY, Ala. – The Foley Lady Lions got an important area win on Tuesday, defeating Fairhope 25-9, 24-26, 25-10, 25-16.

Foley (5-8, 1-2) also defeated Flomaton on Monday at home.

"We are very excited," Foley coach Jessica Allred said. "We are on a winning streak, two games in a row. Flomaton last night and Fairhope tonight which is an area win. So that's very good in our book. We've just got to keep pushing hard."

Allred said a new positive mentality had been a big part of why the Lady Lions had won two matches in a row.

"They work better together on the floor because they pick each other up in a positive way," Allred said. "We are very optimistic."

Vanessa Dilley had 23 assists, Summer Collins had 15 kills, Megan Haber had 13 kills and Brittney Davis had 10 kills in the win for the Lady Lions, who host Gulf Shores on Monday.
