GULF SHORES – The visiting Foley Lady Lions defeated Gulf Shores 42-31 on Senior Night at GSHS on Tuesday.

Foley was led by senior Misha Cambridge, who had a game-high 15 points in the win.

Foley outscored the Lady Dolphins 28-17 in the second half.

"I challenged them at the half to be aggressive," Foley coach Shane Jones said. "We were lucky because they (Gulf Shores) had a sign in the locker room that said 'Contender or Pretender.' I asked them which one they wanted to be. They came out and fought hard to get the win."

Before Friday night's games against Daphne, Foley had won three of its last four games.

"We are getting hot at just the right time," Jones said.

Khadijah Jackson led Gulf Shores with six points. Alesha Frischman added five points in the loss.

Frischman and Ally Dicks were seniors for the Lady Dolphins.

Gulf Shores (10-14) will play at Robertsdale on Monday at 6 p.m. and will play in the 5A Area 2 tournament at Spanish Fort on Wednesday. Foley (8-11) will play in the 6A Area 3 tournament at Robertsdale on Wednesday.
