DAPHNE, Alabama — The Daphne Lady Trojans scored six first-half goals (five in one eight-minute offensive burst) before adding four more to end and win the match 10-0 exactly 12 minutes, 38 seconds short of regulation time over visiting Satsuma Friday.
Rachael Lane scored all of her five goals in the first half for DHS, Rianna Gurvitz added one in each half while Caida Andrew, Alma Avalos and Rachel Collins scored one each to extend the Lady Trojans record to 9-5-1.
Gurvitz had three assists and Suellen Cummings and Yesenia Avalos one each as freshman goal keeper Cierra Harris and senior sweeper Jamie Breitwiese presided over the shutout.
