Thomas Grady Lambert, 76, a native of Jayess, Miss., and a resident of Daphne, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 at home in Daphne surrounded by his loving family.

He was a 1954 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. He was a U.S Army veteran, where he was an accomplished member of the Army Rifle Team. He was an avid boater and outdoorsman. He was a past Commander of the Fairhope Power Squadron and a member of the Fairhope Yacht Club.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kathy G. Lambert of Daphne; son, Timothy Lambert of Daphne; three daughters, Linda Mannich of Fairhope; Katina Brewer of Silverhill, Stephanie Beedy of Daphne; brother, George Lambert of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Janet Magee of Tylertown, Miss., and Barbara Beverin of Ocean Springs, Miss.; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a host of other loving relatives.

Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Road Suite D, Daphne, AL 36526.
