Larry Alfred Ryan, 83, of Gulf Shores, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife of over 59 years, Jackie Ryan of Gulf Shores; two daughters, Debbie (Gary) Ashmore of Summerdale and Alison (Marcus) Manning of Orange Beach; son, Jeff (Pam) Ryan of Canton, Ga.; foster daughter, Stephanie Caldwell of Temple, Texas; brother, Cletis Ryan of Gulf Shores; three sisters, Doris Southworth of Foley, Elaine Harrison of Foley and Esther Nelson of Daphne; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26 at the United Methodist Church in Gulf Shores. Military honors will be presented at the church.
Arrangements are by Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
