Larry David Johnson, 68, a native Missourian and resident of Foley, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2014.

Mr. Johnson was a member of Disabled American Veterans, American Legion Post 44, Sons of the American Revolution, Society of the War of 1812, Military Order of the Stars and Bars, Descendants of Mexican War Veterans, and the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donnie and Anna Pearl Courtland Johnson; and sister, Sue Francka.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Johnson of Foley; son, Brad Johnson of Orange Beach; daughter, Sara Johnson Myers of Foley; son, Jason  Lane of Valdosta, Ga.; granddaughter, Cursti Johnson of Orange Beach; grandsons, Chance Johnson of Orange Beach and Devin Myers of Foley; brothers, Frank  Johnson, Phillip Johnson and Donnie Johnson; sister, Joyce Vest; and many friends and extended family.

A visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley.

The funeral service for Mr. Johnson will be graveside at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 at 11 a.m.
