Larry Theo Weddle Sr., 70, native of Lexington, Ky., and resident of Foley,passed away at his home on Jan. 30, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Joyce Planck Weddle; sons Dr. Larry T. Weddle Jr. (Dr Kim Danzer) of Denver, Colo; Greg D. Weddle (Andrea) and granddaughter, Sidney Grace Weddle of Mt. Juliet, Tenn; sisters, Martha C. Warth and Julia Lane Weddle of Lexington, Ky; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Cowan Weddle of Lexington, Ky., and his father, Carl Asher Weddle of Astoria, N.Y. Pallbearers were Michael Watson, Mark Stanley, Chad Carter, Dr. Joe Danzer II, Joe Danzer and Virgil Weddle. Honorary pallbearers, brothers-in-law, Carlos Planck and Ronald Planck. Services were held at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013. Burial was in the Lexington Cemetery.
