Annette C. Lauing, 71, a native of Panama City, Fla., and a resident of Robertsdale, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008.
She retired in 2005 from Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, after working there for over 22 years.
Survivors include her husband Laurie Charles Lauing of Robertsdale; three sons, Chauncey Ross of Indiana, Pa., Michael Ross of San Antonio, Texas, and Jeffery Ross of Pittsburgh; two step-daughters, Sherry McCarthy of Ridgefield, Wash., and Linda Campbell of Kokomo, Ind.; three step-sons, Lauren Lauing of Robertsdale, Dan Lauing and Mark Lauing, both of Silverhill; two sisters, Barbara Lemin of Emory, Texas, and Connie Work of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; brother, Eugene Anderson of Mt. Airy, Md.; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, Oct. 14 at the beachside near the Pink Pony Pub in Gulf Shores with Father William James officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 Greeno Road, Suite A, Fairhope, AL 36532.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
