LaVonne Duke Collins, 72, a resident of Fairhope, died Monday, August 23, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Collins.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph E. (Carolyn) Collins Jr. of Austin, Texas, J. Russ (Kimberly) Collins of Columbus, Miss.; brother, Phil (Pat) Duke of Hoover; sister, Gail (John) Holmes of Florence; other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church of Fairhope, 300 S. Section St., Fairhope, AL 36532.
